Golf is More Than a Sport — It
Teaches Me to Grow
The courage to try again, the calm to accept
imperfection
Many people ask me, why do you love golf so much? It’s not just because it’s a sport, but because it’s a journey of growing up.
When I first started playing golf, I often missed the ball, made mistakes in swings, and even wanted to give up several times. The sun was hot, my arms were sore, and every mistake made me feel frustrated. But my coach told me: golf is a game against yourself, not others. Every swing is a new chance to start over.
Now, golf has become an important part of my life. Every time I stand on the golf course, I forget the pressure of shoots and the busyness of school. I focus on the ball, the swing, and the breeze. I’ve learned to be calm when I make mistakes, to be patient when I can’t get better quickly, and to celebrate every small progress — even if it’s just hitting a good shot.
Golf teaches me that growth is not about being perfect, but about keeping going. Just like NUOÉ, we don’t chase perfection, but we keep trying to be better.
